When You've Lost Subscription Access
If you've got a Happier app subscription but there are lock symbols showing up on some of the content, then something got disconnected. This article will help you get back to your subscription.
Did you get signed into a new account instead of your subscription account?
Our accounts are registered to an email address and it's possible to have more than one account. The first thing to check is that you're logged into the Happier app with the same email or Sign in with Apple address you used when you bought your subscription. Your subscription's tied to this address so you'll need to be signed in that way to access it.

Did you buy your subscription through Apple's App Store or the Google Play store?
If you did, you can Restore your subscription to whatever account you're currently signed into in the Happier app. This moves your subscription but it won't bring your past history and favorites over. This method doesn't work for subscriptions purchased on our website.
Here's how to restore a subscription.
- Tap the Profile icon at the top of the screen.
- Tap Settings (gear icon) in the upper, right corner.
- Tap Subscription under MEMBERSHIP.
- Tap Restore Purchases.
- If your subscription access isn't restored, please email us at support@happierapp.com.
Has your subscription expired?
- Follow the steps in our Help Center article Find Out When Your Subscription Ends to make sure it hasn't expired.
- If you bought your subscription through Apple's App Store you can check the status of all your subscriptions by clicking the Cancel a Subscription button here, Apple Support Page.
- If you bought your subscription through the Google Play store, try their article Cancel, pause or change a subscription on Google Play.

- If you're logged into the Happier app on your device, send us an email through the app's settings. When you contact us this way the app automatically includes some information that helps us troubleshoot.
- Tap the Profile icon at the top of the screen.
- Tap Settings (gear icon) in the upper, right corner.
- Scroll down and tap Contact a Human under SUPPORT.
- Add anything you think will be helpful to this pre-populated email being sure to leave the list of information at the bottom of the email intact.
- Send us this email message.
- If you can't log into the app so you can't send the email above, please contact us directly at support@happierapp.com.
- If you have a copy of your receipt, the date and exact amount of the purchase, or other information that might be helpful, please include that in your email.
